At any given time, Riverbend Group legal consultants are engaged in searches for partner, associate and counsel level attorneys across a wide variety of practice areas. While the majority of the search assignments we handle are for positions in the Washington, D.C. - Baltimore metropolitan area and surrounding Mid-Atlantic region, often these opportunities are located in other parts of the United States or even in foreign countries (see "Representative Matters").

Legal Positions

Tax controversy/litigation partner or group - Riverbend Group is actively searching for an experienced and highly-regarded tax controversy/litigation partner or group of attorneys for the Washington, D.C. and/or New York office of a national law firm with an elite tax practice. Boutique tax firms or groups with existing or potential office space in other geographical locations will also be considered. Senior Tax Position with Trade Association - Riverbend Group is actively searching for highly-qualified candidates for an extremely visible, public policy-oriented senior level tax position with a major national financial services trade association headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area. A J.D. degree (ideally with an LL.M. degree in Taxation) is preferred, although serious consideration will be given to senior level tax accountant candidates with strong knowledge of corporate and financial services taxation (financial products, etc.). A minimum of approximately five years of relevant experience is required.
